Being Lonely Is A Requirement For Focusing On Success
In today's society, it is all about girl power, women equality and feminism.
Girls are equally able as men. Which is true.
Girls = Girl Boss,
Hustle in everyday.
Whilst I agree fully in equality, and totally believe in women are taking on this mindset and absolutely blowing us all away with this mind-set, as I am one of them, it is important to get carried away by this latest fashionable phase.
When I envisage a 'girl boss' I see a fashionable, successful woman single-handedly taking on the world with her novel and trendy ideas and tag lines. What do you see?
But then, push your mind to dig a little deeper. This lady does not have time to answer phone calls so communicates with everyone by the alphabet. She is placed in front of a computer instead of going out for lunch with her colleagues. She is sat around the dinner table for the evening meal with her children, asking them how their day at school was whilst absent mindedly scratching around her mind for new ideas and subconscious inquisitions on her daily performance and reviews.
Perhaps this is a truly stereotypical look at a girl boss. In no way do I want to appear on the attack or suggesting that this is wrong.
The message I want to convey in this post is that is is our soul's purpose and respect for our life to embrace our dreams and strive for success.
It is important to acknowledge that this isn't code to isolate ourselves, to be lonely, to wipe 'fun' from our vocabulary and miss out on important family moments.
We have to achieve our goals and push our boundaries when we are going about it in a healthy way. Not by forcing success and overriding everything else.
Some people function well when they are on their own, but others function best in a couple or as a group of friends...
Find your optimum and you can have both success and fulfilment from life.
Don't think you have to make sacrifices to achieve what you want.
