Life Advice: Problems Are Just Life's Little Challenges!

Life inevitably presents us with problems. Something unexpected or even expected but has an impact will always appear in our lives. I had a wonderful teacher in high school who was a Buddhist and undoubtedly eccentric and she used to say that there is no such thing as a problem, they are simply challenges that we have to overcome in order to learn and progress as an individual as well as a species.

So lets think about it. There's a cave man sat in his cave and its cold, so what does he do? He learn s to make fire. This is beneficial for him because he won't die from hyperthermia but also for evolution because look what we use fire for today... Industry, combustion engine, cooking... The list is endless.

You will be saying to yourself now, what on earth is silver on about today? The caveman story is all very nice but what's it got to do with us? Well think of maths class (if you can bear it) and remember how the teacher sets you a maths 'problem'... It challenges you, you work it out and then you progress to the harder questions.

All the time we are learning from these little challenges. Even us girls are learning lessons of love right now. When a problem arises or a bad time takes place, don't see it as a problem... Think of it as a challenge to overcome. If these little challenges never happened you would never ever get off the starting post, as they say. So embrace them, think about them and aim to find the solution to make a change.

Stay strong my sisters

Much love, silver xxx

  1. very well-written post. As we mature, we can see things from a different perspective as to see the problem as challenges. Looking back to my previous challenges, I am thankful that I have those experiences and make me grow as a person and benefit from them.

  2. I love this... And people who thinks like this! The best kind of people are those who don't give up when problems show up, but keeps going and actually overcome the problems!
